NHS LAX Tailgate - September 15 (5PM to 6:30PM) |
| The lacrosse team will get out to support the football team at this year's NHS-Lackey game on September 15. At 5PM, parents and players are encouraged to get together to kick off the 2006-07 season before cheering the Patriots at one of the biggest football games of the year. More details should be out this week. |
NHS LAX Rakes Up the Support |
| Those interested in playing lacrosse this year for NHS are expected to participate in the first fundraiser of the year - leaf raking in the community. We're leaning toward the weekend of November 4&5 for this activity. Players will work in groups of six to eight to help the community clean up for the winter. Proceeds will go to help offset the expense of equipping the team, including getting the JV fully matching jerseys, adding more helmets and pads to the inventory, and purchasing items to enhance the player's experience on and off the field. |

Joe's Notes |
The offseason is critical to our success. Whether it's in the weightroom, on the field, or just hitting the wall to improve your stickwork, the effort put in between now and March 1 will go a long way to determining our success this season.
